Drug Bust in Motel Leads to Bigger Haul
An Encinitas woman was being held in Orange County Jail on $500,000 bail Saturday after her arrest in Buena Park for possession of drugs that led to a raid of her home in North County, where 20 pounds of methamphetamines were seized.
Julia Anna Clark, 22, was arrested Friday after a tipster led Buena Park police to her motel room. There, police found a small amount of drugs and $43,000 in cash, a Buena Park Police Department spokesman said.
Officers then searched Clark’s Encinitas home, where they found 20 pounds of methamphetamines and an additional $37,000 in cash, police said.
She was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamines with the intent to sell.
