Kinser Takes Feature in World of Outlaws

Steve Kinser, of Bloomington, Ind., took the lead on the 25th lap and held on to win the September Nationals of the World of Outlaws winged sprint car series late Saturday night at Ascot Park in Gardena.

Kinser, the series points leader and nine-time champion, passed Doug Wolfgang, of Sioux Falls, S.D., and went on to the victory. Sammy Swindell was second after colliding with Wolfgang and sending him into the wall on the 28th lap. It was Kinser’s 23rd victory in 55 races this season.
