TRANSIT POLL: A poll taken last week for the Yes on M committee shows strong support for the countywide transportation measure. . . . It has 2-1 backing among those who voted two years ago. However, the all-purpose transportation measure enjoyed similar support just before it was defeated last year. . . . Supporters blamed a low turnout and hope for a better one this time.
