Steeler Fan Beaten at Raiders Game
Ashamed to be a Raiders fan. Naw . . . well, maybe a little . . . especially after viewing, firsthand, the beating Paul Albrecht took at the Raiders game!
OK, OK, maybe he was asking for trouble--walking up and down taunting the fans, but he certainly did not deserve the beating he got. I’m sure it would not have happened if the Event Staff security in our area had not been on break.
Being from out of town, Albrecht obviously wasn’t aware of the Los Angeles and Coliseum etiquette: You don’t wear your Rolex, you’ve got to park in a “protected” lot, go with a friend or two and be sure to leave before the end of the fourth quarter (not to beat the traffic), but before the crazies stagger out of the stands!
The solution: Beef up security, stop the beer at halftime and never pull on Raiderman’s cape.
