Moorpark Coach Earns 200th Wrestling Win

John Keever, the Moorpark College wrestling coach, picked up his 200th career dual-meet victory earlier this week when Moorpark beat Golden West, 22-14.
Keever, in his 22nd year at Moorpark, has earned all 200 wins with the Raiders. He has a career record of 200-99-4.
Last season, the Raiders finished second in the state meet, marking the best finish by a Moorpark team coached by Keever.
Robby Cook, at 142 pounds, and Phil Guerrero, at 190, both won on major decisions to help Keever achieve his landmark victory Wednesday.
