Quarterback Bobby Hebert, now residing in Manhattan Beach, is suing the Raiders for not signing him.

Hebert, unable to reach a contract agreement with the New Orleans Saints this season, claims in a suit filed in Los Angeles that the Raiders, in observing the NFL’s Plan B system for transferring players, are violating California law by preventing a person from pursuing his livelihood.

The complaint claims that the Raiders “have actively tried to make a trade for Hebert, but have been prevented from doing so by the demand of New Orleans for enormous compensation.”
