Fire Damages House Under Construction
A slow-burning fire damaged a house under construction in Studio City on Sunday evening, the Los Angeles city Fire Department reported.
About 65 firefighters were battling the stubborn fire two hours after it started at 7:10 p.m., Fire Department spokesman Greg Acevedo said. The cause of the blaze, which was concentrated in the floors and walls, and an estimated dollar amount on the damage, were not available.
There were no reports of injuries. Firefighters were inspecting the house in the 12100 block of Iredell Street for hidden pockets of fire, Acevedo said.
