Graig Nettles will return to the New York Yankees to coach first base, the club said in announcing the 1991 staff for manager Stump Merrill.

Mark Connor will move from the bullpen to take over for Billy Connors, who was not retained. Frank Howard will be the new batting coach. Buck Showalter will be the third base coach and Mike Ferraro will move from first base into the dugout.
