Eric Dickerson’s first hit in practice was a “stunner,” but he said there was no tension or bitterness from teammates he once trashed.

Dickerson, who spent the past six weeks on the NFL’s non-football injured list, rejoined the Indianapolis Colts for practice for the first time since last December.

“I wasn’t nervous at all,” he said. “Everyone thinks I have all these enemies.... There are three or four guys I don’t get along with, but there’s 45 or so others.”

Said quarterback Jack Trudeau: “Everybody will put it behind them and give Eric a chance to make up for the things that happened. If he plays well, he can certainly help us.”
