In Orange Empire Conference men’s soccer:

Cypress 3, Golden West 3--Ryan Sherry scored to give Golden West a 1-0 lead at halftime. Louie Cueva had two goals and Diego Abbes had one for Cypress. Kevin Martin and Jesse Zamora also scored for Golden West (6-8-4, 4-3-4). Joey Dillman had 11 saves for Cypress and Chris Lekavich had three saves for Golden West.

Irvine Valley 3, Riverside 1--Piero Mendiola scored twice and Ryan Tinsley scored once for host Irvine Valley (13-1-5, 6-1-4). Steve Earhart scored for Riverside (1-8-2 in conference).

Orange Coast 1, Fullerton 1--David Uzzi of Fullerton scored midway through the first half to tie the score. Darin Courter had scored earlier for Orange Coast (10-5-3, 7-1-3). Fullerton is 9-7-3 and 7-2-2.

In Orange Empire Conference women’s soccer:

Golden West 2, Orange Coast 1--Shawna Savage scored with less than a minute remaining in the game to give visiting Golden West (7-6-2, 3-2-1). Amy Utter had tied the score, 1-1, with a goal with nine minutes left. Amie Ingold scored in the first half for Orange Coast (8-3-7, 2-2-2).

In Orange Empire Conference women’s volleyball:

Cypress 3, Saddleback 0--Kari Calliham had 18 kills and two blocks and Tracie Adrian had five kills to lead Cypress (8-4, 4-4) to a 15-2, 15-2, 15-5 victory at Cypress. Jody Narey had six kills for Saddleback (5-7, 1-7).
