Host La Habra High School broke the ice with 3 minutes 12 seconds remaining on a 22-yard field goal by Bryan Cierley and went on to beat Troy, 10-0, Friday in a Freeway League game.

The lackluster victory gave La Habra (6-4, 2-3) fourth place in the league. Troy’s disappointing season ended at 3-7, 1-4.

Less than a minute after the field goal, La Habra’s Brian Burchit sacked sophomore quarterback John Ledieff, forcing a fumble. La Habra tackle Robert Coats scooped up the ball and ran 13 yards into the end zone to seal the victory.
