Nordhoff 20, Calabasas 7--Junior tailback Nacho Vega rushed for 111 yards on 13 carries and scored three touchdowns as host Nordhoff defeated the Coyotes for its for first league win in three years. Nordhoff (4-6, 1-3) scored first on Vega’s 37-yard run in the first quarter, but the PAT failed.

The Rangers padded their lead in the third quarter as Vega ran 17 yards. Nordhoff quarterback Steve Saum completed five of 10 passes for 117 yards.
