In other Southern Section volleyball playoff matches:

Windward d. L.A. Baptist, 15-11, 15-13, 15-8--Lucretia Haynes had eight kills and five blocks for L.A. Baptist (17-2) in a 1-A semifinal at L.A. Baptist.

Amy Anderson had five service aces for L.A. Baptist. Windward, the top-seeded 1-A team, improved to 22-2.

Gahr d. Glendale, 15-7, 15-13, 10-15, 15-6--Gahr defeated the Dynamiters in a 4-A quarterfinal match.

Alta Loma d. Canyon, 15-7, 15-13, 15-6--The Cowboys failed to advance in a 3-A quarterfinal match. Alta Loma remains undefeated.

Desert d. Village Christian, 5-15, 15-12, 15-0, 15-8--Despite winning the first game, Village Christian bowed out of the 1-A playoffs in a match at Village Christian.

Brentwood d. Flintridge Prep, 15-9, 15-13, 15-6--Flintridge Prep was swept in a 1-A Division quarterfinal.

Cate d. Arrowhead Christian Academy, 15-0, 15-2, 15-2--Cate advanced to the semifinals of the Small Schools Division playoffs with an easy sweep.

GIRLS’ TENNIS

Calabasas 9, Diamond Bar 9 (Calabasas wins on games, 69-61)--Led by a sweep in singles play, Calabasas (15-3) handed Diamond Bar (21-1) its first defeat in a 3-A Division quarterfinal match at Calabasas.

In singles play, Calabasas’ No. 1 player, Natasha Pospich, won three matches by a combined score of 18-1, and teammates Stacey Jellen (18-3) and Alison Paris (18-2) were nearly as dominant.

Calabasas plays Agoura in a semifinal Thursday.

Westlake 15, Estancia 3--Jennifer Reese, Kim Stuart and Alison Levitt all recorded sweeps in singles play to lead third-seeded Westlake (22-1) in a 3-A quarterfinal match at Estancia.

The doubles team of Lauren Mazur and Alyse Bartelstone swept three matches in doubles play for Westlake, which will meet second-seeded Beverly Hills in the semifinal round Thursday.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Bakersfield 86, Antelope Valley 69--Stacey Mulcahy had 14 points and 15 rebounds for Antelope Valley, but the Marauders dropped to 0-2 in the nonconference game at Antelope Valley.

Krischelle Gill added 14 points for Antelope Valley and teammate Paula Page had 13 points and 11 rebounds.

WOMENS’ VOLLEYBALL

Pierce d. Glendale, 15-0, 15-10, 15-7--Carina Sailer and Lori Mertes each had five kills to lead the Brahmas (17-2, 16-2) in a Western State Conference match.

Bakersfield d. Moorpark, 15-9, 15-13, 15-3--Danielle Larson had 10 kills and teammate Kellee Roe added nine kills for host Moorpark (6-12 in conference play) in a WSC match.
