PREP VOLLEYBALL PLAYOFFS
In Division 5-A:
Mira Costa 3, El Toro 2--The defending 5-A champions avenged their only loss this season with a 16-14, 13-15, 10-15, 15-8, 15-6 victory at El Camino College. Mira Costa improved to 20-1 and El Toro finished 13-4.
In Division 3-A:
La Habra 3, Alto Loma 0--La Habra (17-0) advanced to the final Saturday for the second consecutive year with a 15-6, 15-6, 15-3 victory at Etiwanda High School.
El Modena 3, Arlington 0--Marni Hichborn had 14 kills and nine blocks and Melizza Benitez had 31 assists in a 15-12, 15-10, 16-14 victory for El Modena (20-0) at Orange High School.
