It’s too bad viewers can’t nominate Emmys, because NBC’s “The Love She Sought” (Oct. 21) was certainly Emmy material. The acting by Angela Lansbury and the rest of the cast was excellent, the direction well-paced, the photography blended scenery and story--but the writing was best of all. At last, here was a story to satisfy mature audiences in the best, original sense of the word “mature.”
