Altadena : Parade Theme Selected
“Decades of Memory” will be the theme of the 25th annual Old Fashioned Days Parade.
Musicians, dancers and marchers in costume will highlight six eras: the Golden Years, from 1886 to 1919; the Roaring ‘20s; the Thundering ‘30s; the 1940s and the Baby Boom; the Fun ‘50s, and the Fabulous ‘60s.
The April 27 parade will begin at 11 a.m. at Mariposa Street and Santa Rosa Avenue. The route will be east along Mariposa Street, then south on Lake Avenue to New York Drive.
The Altadena Chamber of Commerce and Civic Assn. sponsors the event.
