COUP? Several League of Cities officers say privately they want to oust county transportation czar Stanley T. Oftelie and bus chief James P. Reichert, and they’ll get their chance next year when the new Orange County Transportation Authority absorbs both men’s agencies. . . . Tollway director William C. Woollett Jr. is being mentioned as a possible new czar. Says Transportation Commissioner Dana W. Reed: “The cities can do this if they want, but that’s not in the interest of the commuter.”
