The Raiders’ rare regular-season appearance today highlights this weekend’s sports viewing choices.

The Raiders, who visit the Minnesota Vikings at 1 p.m. on Channels 4, 36, 39, are two wins, two Kansas City Chief losses or any combination of the same away from their first AFC West divisional title since 1985. Today’s National Football League action begins at 9:30 a.m. when the Green Bay Packers play host to the Detroit Lions on Channels 2 and 8. A Saturday edition of “Monday Night Football” matches the Washington Redskins and Indianapolis Colts at 5 p.m. on Channels 7, 3, 10 and 42.

Sunday, the Rams will continue to play out their season when they face the Atlanta Falcons, 10 a.m., Channel 2. Also at 10 a.m., Channel 4 airs the Buffalo Bills-Miami Dolphins AFC East divisional showdown. At 1 p.m., Channels 2 and 8 will carry the San Francisco 49ers-New Orleans Saints game. ESPN’s 5 p.m. contest pits the Denver Broncos against the Seattle Seahawks.

The local college basketball spotlight shines on the improving USC Trojans, who face Augusta College in a 2 p.m. Prime Ticket telecast today. Other telecasts today include Loyola Marymount in a difficult away game against Georgia Tech (6:30 p.m., ESPN), UC Irvine vs. California (8 p.m., SportsChannel), and Nevada Las Vegas risks its No. 1 ranking against Florida State (1 p.m., Channels 7, 3, 10 and 42).
