Wiggins Is Scheduled to Be Buried Friday
Funeral services for Alan Wiggins, who died Sunday night, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Calvary CME Methodist Church in Pasadena. It will be followed by burial at Rose Hill Cemetery in Whittier.
Wiggins, the catalyst behind the Padres’ 1984 National League pennant, died of pneumonia, tuberculosis and medical complications, according to a spokesman at Cedars-Sinai Hospital. Wiggins was admitted Nov. 29.
