Except for the game’s opening baskets, St. Bernard (8-9, 4-1) led until late in the third quarter when one of DaCorsi’s four three-point baskets gave the Knights a 38-37 advantage.

The Vikings regained the lead seconds later and held it until DaCorsi made four free throws (two foul shots and two technicals) to tie the score, 55-55, with 1 minute 36 seconds left. Marcello Anderson-Tellez’s two free throws with 1:09 left gave the Knights a two-point lead, but St. Bernard’s Parker Jenkins hit a three-point basket for a 58-57 lead.

DaCorsi’s final three-point basket came from the right wing with 30 seconds left.

Notre Dame limited St. Bernard’s Wyking Jones, a senior center who averages 24 points a game, to nine points.
