Darrin King’s steal with 1:03 left sparked Harbor College to a 78-75 victory over host L.A. Trade Tech in a Southern California Athletic Conference game.

With the score tied, 71-71, King stole the ball and passed it to Chris Mijanovic, who scored on a layup and was fouled. He made the free throw to complete the three-point play.

The Seahawks (9-13 and 2-2 in conference play) got off to a slow start and fell behind, 12-2. Harbor trailed, 26-14, when it went on a 26-11 run in the last eight minutes of the first half. The Seahawks led, 40-37, at halftime.

Mijanovic and Brenton Woods led the Seahawks in scoring with 21 points each. Armando Del Cid scored 20 for Harbor.

Trade Tech (4-17 and 0-5) was led by Kenneth Woods, who scored a game-high 26 points. Marvin Allen added 23.
