In Addition to Bass Catch, Anglers Get Trout Limits
Big bass have been making waves at a few Southland reservoirs, but trout are still the main attraction.
The bigger fish are coming from Irvine Lake, a private reservoir famous for its stocked “super trout.” But other lakes are yielding limits of catchable rainbows.
“People are pulling out limits, tickled to death,” said Jean Bryant of Silverwood Lake in San Bernardino County.
Similar reports have come from Santa Barbara to San Diego.
