HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP : Notre Dame Completes Mission

Notre Dame High defeated Bishop Montgomery, 72-42, Wednesday night to clinch the Mission League basketball championship at Bishop Montgomery. Bob DaCorsi scored 22 points and Marcello Anderson-Tellez added 17 for the Knights (19-4, 10-1).

Thousand Oaks 58, Westlake 52--Chris Loll had 17 points and five steals and Andrew Borg added 16 points for host Thousand Oaks (19-4, 10-3) in a Marmonte League game.

Agoura 74, Newbury Park 67--Sean Martin scored 32 points and Eddie Corridori had 10 points and 13 rebounds to pace host Agoura (14-7, 8-5) to a Marmonte League win. Robert Fick scored 23 points for Newbury Park.

Camarillo 65, Simi Valley 62 (OT)--David Harbour scored four of his game-high 31 points in overtime to secure the victory for visiting Camarillo (14-7, 8-5) in a Marmonte League game.

Hueneme 86, Oxnard 81--Wendell Nunnery scored a game-high 26 points and Jack Brown added 13 as Hueneme (8-14, 4-9) won a Channel League game.

Bell-Jeff 68, St. Genevieve 48--Bell-Jeff opened a 21-5 first-quarter advantage in the San Fernando Valley League game at home.

Brian Lee scored 14 points and Bryan Camacho added 12 for Bell-Jeff (11-11, 5-4).

Reseda 73, Chatsworth 55--Reseda (11-8, 6-3) clinched the West Valley League title behind Marquis Burns (24 points).

Taft 66, Kennedy 56--Taft (15-6, 7-2) secured second place in the North Valley League behind Casey Sheahan’s 18 points and six assists. Bobby Winn scored 24 points for Kennedy.

El Camino Real 92, San Fernando 41--Kalin Green scored 21 points and added seven steals as El Camino Real (11-8, 4-5) won the North Valley League game.

Monroe 73, North Hollywood 67--Stanley Deal scored 24 points and Ronald Falls added 20 to lead the Vikings (12-10, 4-5) over North Hollywood (10-11, 5-4) in a Mid-Valley League game.

Birmingham 63, Poly 57--Maurice Spillers scored 23 points to lead the Braves (6-12, 4-7) to an East Valley League victory over the host Parrots (6-11, 5-5).

Oakwood 74, Providence 52--Brothers Telly and Shaphan Roberts combined for 48 points to lead the Gorillas (9-10, 6-3) in a Liberty League game.
