Countywide : Postal Service Offers Valentine’s Day Help
Handwritten Valentine’s Day cards can be mailed in special white post office boxes through Feb. 13, a Postal Service spokeswoman said.
“The cards will be kept separate from the machine-addressed envelopes, and will be rushed to our letter-sorting machines for processing,” said Mary Frink, director of marketing and communications.
The collection boxes will be used for other holidays, Frink said, including Christmas, Mother’s Day, Easter and other occasions, she said.
The boxes are at the Camarillo post office, Oxnard main post office, Oxnard Saviers postal station, Moorpark post office, Simi Valley main post office, Ventura main post office and the East Ventura postal station.
