Give Them an ‘A’: ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, plus several cable networks and producers of syndicated series, have committed to run at least 32 hours each of programming with strong pro-education themes during the week of April 15-21, which several network heads have designated “EDUCATION 1st! Week.” EDUCATION 1st! is a nonprofit coalition of individuals in the entertainment industry, print media and education who work to promote positive messages about education.
