In other conference games:

Fullerton 86, Riverside 75 (OT)--Kenny Cross scored 26 points, and Garry Hunter and Bob Terry had 18 for visiting Fullerton (15-14, 4-7). Riverside led, 51-43, in the second half when Fullerton went on a 16-3 run and led, 56-54, with nine minutes left.

Fullerton’s Gary Lira made two free throws with 47 seconds left in regulation to tie it, 66-66, and Riverside (18-14, 5-6) then worked for a last shot but missed. Terry scored nine points in the overtime.

Saddleback 93, Golden West 89--Saddleback used a 20-4 run late in the game to defeat host Golden West (11-19, 3-9) in its final regular-season game. Matt Thompson had team highs in points with 21 and rebounds with 10 for third-place Saddleback (16-11, 7-4). Edmond Johnson added 18 and Dee Boyer 17 for Saddleback. Scott Campbell scored 24, Jason Vaughan 17, Ric Van Scoyoc 16 and Paige Parish 15 for Golden West.

In Orange Empire Conference women’s basketball:

Golden West 72, Saddleback 68--Top-ranked Golden West (30-1, 12-0) trailed for most of the game, tying it at 55-55 with 8:57 left to play. Trailing, 55-50, with 9:21 left, Golden West zoomed out to a 62-55 lead with 6:28 left. Jennifer Harney connected on two three-pointers in that run. Harney scored 30 points, including six three-pointers and Bits Sirchia scored 19 points, had six steals, and dished out seven assists for Golden West.

Shannon Garnos scored 17 for host Saddleback (17-9, 5-6).

Fullerton 66, Riverside 51--Christa Ramirez scored 14 points, including seven in a row in the second half, for host Fullerton (22-6, 8-3), which moved into a second-place tie with Riverside (22-8, 8-3). Nicki Durity scored 13 and Candice Burnett added 12 for Fullerton.

Orange Coast 73, Cypress 54--Erika Manning had 23 points and 13 rebounds for visiting OCC (14-16, 4-7). Stacey Giem scored 19 points and Kami Bigler had 12 points and six assists and Cynthia Kollar had 10 assists for OCC.
