COMMUNITY COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Fullerton Wins Again in Baseball

Fullerton College won its fourth consecutive baseball game, defeating San Joaquin Delta, 6-2, in the championship semifinal round Sunday at the Modesto Tournament.
Pete Gonzales (2-0) pitched a six-hitter for the victory. Teammate Tom Wilson had three hits and a run batted in.
Kenny Humphrey had three hits, scored a run and stole a base and Brian Mullings had two hits, including a double, and scored two runs for Fullerton (10-4), which plays at 1:30 p.m. today for the tournament championship.
In the championship of the Bakersfield baseball tournament:
Kings River 19, Orange Coast 7--Orange Coast led, 7-6, going into the sixth inning, but Kings River scored five runs in the bottom of the inning and eight in the seventh inning. Scott Sebbo had two hits and two RBIs for Orange Coast (9-3-1).
In the losers’ bracket:
Orange Coast 16, San Bernardino Valley 1--Greg Fife had four hits, including a two-run home run and a double, and four RBIs for OCC.
