Arizona State’s Tommy Adams Leaves Hospital
Tommy Adams, an outfielder for the Arizona State baseball team, has been released from a Tallahassee, Fla., hospital, where he spent a week recovering from injuries, his mother, Carol Adams, said Monday.
Adams, who graduated from Capistrano Valley High School in 1988, suffered a bruised kidney and a contusion of his spleen Feb. 8 during a game against Florida State. While stealing second base, he was kneed in the back.
Adams, an all--Six Pac selection as an outfielder last season, was hitting .400 at the time.
