Early cast of ‘Dallas’ meets at South Fork for what may be final finale

A lot of old familiar faces from CBS’ “Dallas”--Mary Crosby, Linda Gray, Steve Kanaly, Jack Scalia and “Knots Landing” stars Ted Shackelford and Joan Van Ark--will be guest starring on the season’s two-hour finale, which executive producer Leonard Katzman says, will be the “greatest cliffhanger in the history of the series.” Rumor has it the finale may be the final episode of the long-running series. Oscar-winning Joel Grey of “Cabaret” fame will also guest.

Raymond Burr, Barbara Hale, William R. Moses and Peter Scolari are currently in Denver filming “Perry Mason: The Case of the Glass Coffin,” set to air later this season on NBC. This time around a flamboyant showman is accused of murder when his spectacular illusion results in the death of his beautiful but dangerous assistant.

Joey Thrower has joined the cast of ABC’s daytime drama “One Life to Live,” as the wealthy, high school senior Kevin Buchanan.

The Kushner-Locke Company has been given the green light by CBS to develop and produce “Outlander,” a futuristic dramatic series for the 1991-92 late-night lineup.

“Outlander” is described as a cop show set on an astroid in the year 2030. It is scheduled to be filmed in Europe this summer.

Tovah Feldshuh, Phyllis Newman and Stephen Pearlman star in “Saying Kaddish,” a drama about a Jewish family that learns to affirm life in the face of death, airing March 3 on ABC.

Glenn Gordon Caron, the creator and executive producer of ABC’s classic “Moonlighting,” has signed an agreement to develop three new series for ABC Entertainment over the next four years.

Fox Broadcasting has ordered five additional episodes of its Thursday night comedy series”Babes,” bringing the total number of shows ordered this season to 22.

Pierce Brosnan, Virginia Madsen and JoBeth Williams are currently filming the CBS movie “Victim of Love.” The “Fatal Attraction’--style thriller is set to air in May.
