Kearny 73, Lemoore 71 (OT)--Sophomore guard Demetrius Brown, a late replacement in the starting lineup, hit a 23-foot three-point shot to tie the game, 70-70, with two seconds left in regulation. Brown, who finished with a season-high 19 points, was replacing John Lam, who missed the trip because of illness.

Seventh-seeded Kearny (24-6) surged in the fourth quarter, outscoring Lemoore, 18-8, and shut out the host team the final five minutes of regulation. Darnay Scott had 22 points and 21 rebounds for the Komets.
