San Diego
A San Diego police car struck and injured a pedestrian Friday night as it traveled through the intersection of Crosby and 25th streets, the Police Department reported.
The pedestrian, who was not identified, was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries to his leg, a department spokesman said.
The police car was traveling through the intersection against a red light, with its emergency lights flashing but without using its siren, the spokesman said.
The pedestrian was in the crosswalk, walking with the green light, when he was hit, the spokesman said.
