No Need to Punt: ABC Sports, as of midday Monday, had received no calls complaining that four-letter word obscenities were heard during Sunday’s World League of American Football telecast of the London Monarchs vs. New York/New Jersey Knights game. The words got on the air because ABC and cable’s USA Network have put microphones on coaches to pick up conversations between coaches and quarterbacks.
