Task Forces Net 45 Drug Arrests
A combined effort from three Huntington Beach Police Department task forces resulted in 45 drug-related arrests at three locations over the last five days, Lt. Jeff Cope announced on Saturday.
“We’re pretty pleased with the results of the work our people did,” Cope said.
All the suspects were taken to the Huntington Beach city jail for booking. The arrests included: 12 suspected of trying to sell narcotics to undercover officers; 24 for allegedly trying to buy drugs from undercover officers, three for suspected possession of illegal drugs and six on suspicion of miscellaneous drug-related crimes.
