Readers Disagree on Hershiser Story

In an age where sports figures are put on a pedestal for quitting drugs, I find Orel Hershiser’s commitment to God during his rehabilitation unique. He to me exemplifies everything that we are supposed to be teaching our children to be like. I’m sorry, but the letters of June 8 only strengthen those like Mr. Hershiser.
