Indianapolis Colt nose tackle Harvey Armstrong was arrested at his home in Indianapolis on charges of domestic battery and disorderly conduct, police said.
Armstrong, 31, was arrested about 4:10 a.m. Saturday after a woman identifying herself as Armstrong’s girlfriend called the Marion County Sheriff’s Department to his home.
The woman told deputies she had been struck twice and that Armstrong was carrying a handgun, a sheriff’s department spokesman said.
A court appearance was scheduled for Monday.
