Nevada Las Vegas officials say they are satisfied with the university’s response to NCAA charges against the men’s basketball program.
The UNLV reply, packaged in 35 volumes, includes more than 400 pages written in response to the NCAA letter of inquiry along with several thousand pages of other documents.
Originally, the NCAA alleged 29 violations committed by UNLV, but UNLV counsel Brad Booke said the university is responding to 35 alleged violations.
Booke said the most serious allegations surround the NCAA contention of a lack of institutional control in the recruiting and eventual awarding of legal guardianship to former New York prep star Lloyd Daniels.
Booke said UNLV will refute the allegation.
