John Morgan, a blind swimmer from Huntington Beach, set a world record for the blind in the 200-meter breaststroke during the Disabled Sports Championships at Hofstra University on Long Island, N.Y. Morgan’s time of 2:57.49 broke the old record by almost four seconds.
