One Ticket in Pick Six Collects $589,908.80
One ticket with all six winners in the pick six Thursday took home $589,908.80, the second-highest payoff in Del Mar’s history.
The ticket, sold at one of the track’s 13 satellite wagering facilities, combined the numbers 12, 4, 8, 4 or 5, 9, 3 to win the huge prize.
The large pool was the result of a two-day carryover that had grown to $235,602.56 at the start of Thursday’s races. Thursday’s pick six pool was $738,876.44, meaning the total pool reached $974,479.
The highest pick six in Del Mar history was the $625,635.60 won with one ticket on Sept. 13, 1987.
