Pete Wilson named an L.A. developer to replace former county supervisor Bruce Nestande. . . . Jerry B. Epstein aced out Victoria C. Jaffe of Mission Viejo and Clarice A. Blamer of Brea, former councilwomen vying for the job. . . . Will Orange County suffer? Not likely, says Nestande, who predicts a local will be appointed in February, when two other posts should be vacated.
