Baseball Camp to Be Held at Cal Lutheran

The Cal Lu Lu-Dawg baseball camp, directed by Marty Slimak, will be held Monday through Friday at Cal Lutheran.
Slimak served as Cal Lutheran’s pitching coach last season.

The Ventura County Sports Hall of Fame has announced the selection of Chuck Eskew as chairman of its general steering committee for 1991-92. Eskew is starting his fifth year on the committee.
Potential committee members from the eastern cities of the county and from the Oxnard area are being sought.

The Magic 5K run, winding through Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park, will be held Oct. 6 at 8 a.m. The course will run through the Valencia park’s 260 acres.
Proceeds will go to the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center.
