Jeff Brohm threw for two touchdowns and Ralph Dawkins rushed for 162 yards and a score as Louisville beat Division I-AA Eastern Kentucky, 24-14, on Saturday.

Brohm passed to his brother Greg for a 20-yard scoring play in the third quarter as the Cardinals went ahead, 17-7.

The Cardinals put the game away in the waning minutes of the fourth quarter when Dawkins carried on all 11 plays of a 45-yard touchdown drive after Tim McNamee’s fumble on a punt snap. Dawkins ran nine yards for the touchdown with 1:37 to play to finish the Colonels, who had climbed back to trail only 17-14 with nine minutes left after Tim Lester’s second scoring run.
