Motorcyclist, 18, Dies in Collision With Car
A 18-year-old Winnetka man was killed Tuesday when his motorcycle hit a car at Winnetka Avenue and Calvert Street, Los Angeles police said.
The man, whose name was not released pending notification of relatives, was headed south on Winnetka about 7:20 a.m. when his motorcycle collided with a car that was making a left turn onto Calvert, Officer Joanna Needham said.
The man was pronounced dead at Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills. The driver of the car, Carri Carson, 24, of Burbank was not injured, Needham said. Police said no citations were issued because it was unclear who was at fault.
