Glendale : Decomposed Body Found

Police this week were attempting to identify a badly decomposed body found in a brushy area at Glendale’s Scholl Canyon tennis complex.
A bicyclist detected a foul odor in the 3800 block of East Glenoaks Boulevard and reported it Monday to police, who found the body just off the road, Sgt. Lief Nicolaisen said.
Nicolaisen said the body is believed to be that of an adult, but he said the gender could not immediately be determined because of the advanced state of decomposition. Investigators believe it had been there for several weeks.
