San Diego

The body of a 29-year-old man was found Wednesday morning partially inside a car in Mission Hills.

David Lodge, address unknown, was found at 7:45 a.m. in a car in front of a house in the 4200 block of Arguello St. The medical examiner's office has not yet determined how Lodge died, according to medical examiner's investigator Robert Engel.

Because there were marks on Lodge's wrists suggesting that he had been bound, police believe he was dragged from the house to the car.

Police found John Andrews, 49, a resident of the house, wandering incoherently in the area. Andrews told police that Lodge and another man had accompanied him to his house Tuesday night. Andrews was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center.
