WOODBURY UNIVERSITY : Evening Degree Program to Open
Woodbury University in Burbank will expand educational options for working adults this fall with the opening of Evening College, a four-year program leading to a bachelor of science in business administration.
The new program, which begins Thursday, will augment Woodbury’s Weekend College, which allows working students to earn an undergraduate business degree in a weekend-only format, said Woodbury spokeswoman Lizanne Fleming.
Evening College’s late afternoon and early or late evening classes will give adults--first-time college or transfer students--access to the same degree programs as day students. Students also will have the option of combining weekend and evening courses.
Woodbury is one of a few accredited colleges and universities in Southern California that offer the flexible weekend-evening program, Fleming said. The university’s campus is at 7500 Glenoaks Blvd.
