Senior Paul Gray of Earlham College in Hanover, Ind., attempted a college-record 92 passes in a 55-46 loss to Georgetown College of Kentucky in an NAIA game Saturday.
Gray completed 41 passes for 630 yards and seven touchdowns. Dustin Dewald of Iowa Wesleyan had thrown 86 passes, completing 61 for 445 yards, in a 35-31 loss to Harding College on Sept. 21.
