George Foreman will fight Jimmy Ellis on Dec. 7 at the Country Club in Reseda.
Ellis, 27, played football at Redondo Union High in Redondo Beach and was a four-year starter at Boise State. He was drafted by the Raiders in the 10th round in 1987 and cut before the season. Ellis (16-0-1) is managed by Raider defensive end Howie Long.

Boxing--A Newswire item in Friday’s editions incorrectly identified the site of a heavyweight fight between George Foreman and Jimmy Ellis on Dec. 7 as the Country Club in Reseda. That fight will be held in Atlantic City, N.J.
