A Los Angeles man has pleaded guilty to an arson charge in the Sept. 3 firebombing of a West Covina drive-through dairy.

A Pomona Superior Court judge on Wednesday ordered Francisco Rodriguez, 19, to appear for sentencing Oct. 30. Rodriguez is being held in County Jail.

Rockview Dairy on East Vine Avenue was struck by Molotov cocktails on July 9, Aug. 8 and Sept. 3. The first fire caused $100,000 in damages.

West Covina police arrested Rodriguez after a witness wrote down his car’s license plate number during the Sept. 3 bombing.

Rodriguez said three gang members hired him to help them burn down the dairy, but he has refused to cooperate further with authorities.
