You can higgle, haggle, dicker or just plain deal at Burbank’s monthly antique show, the Pickwick. The 125 dealers who gather here every fourth Sunday have come to expect bargaining for their wares, from Arts and Crafts and Monterey furniture to Mexican retablos (religious paintings on tin) and santos (saints carved from wood) to American Indian rugs, pottery and baskets.
Among the staples are Herman Miller- and Eames-designed tables and chairs ($200 to $3,000), dinner- and glassware you may recognize from childhood, if you grew up in the late ‘40s and ‘50s, and quilts ($100 and up). Other impulse items: costume jewelry ($5 and up) and vintage clothing and fabric ($10 and up). Admission is $3, and the next show is Oct. 27
