WINNING SERVE: Rolf J. Engen of Laguna Beach, an executive with Eldorado Bank, fell in love with volleyball at UCLA 40 years ago. He’s played on 10 national champions, coached the sport in high school and was volleyball commissioner for the 1984 Olympics, where the U.S. won men’s gold and women’s silver medals. His reward: induction last week into the national Volleyball Hall of Fame at Holyoke, Mass., where the game was invented. . . . “I didn’t even know there was a Hall of Fame,” says Engen, 62.
